Next time you get a hankering for percebes (pronounced pair-THAY-bess here) you need to take a trip to Santiago de Compostela. Half the restaurants have them displayed in their refrigerated window cases. I ordered some last night, and asked the waiter if there is a season for them around here, and he said no, they're available most of the time.
