...and boy do we need help deciding where to eat!

I visit the city fairly often - but on a budget - so I've got my own list of inexpensive favorites for lunch and dinner, but we'd like to have one great dinner to celebrate the "anniversary" of our 30th birthdays.

So here's the question: If we're only going to have one expensive dinner out, where should it be? Gramercy Tavern? One of (dare I ask it?!) Mario Battali's places? One of the city's high-end french restaurants?

BTW: We've decided on Artisanal for lunch at least one day and would welcome suggestions for other lunch options, perhaps some good prix fixe deals?

One last thing: any suggestions for "just like Paris" bakeries?
