Pasta D'Arte on the NW side of Chicago

If you are looking for a great italian place in a unexpected location, check out Pasta D'Arte in the Gladstone/Norwood Park area. They are on Milwaukee around the 6000 block.

I visted this place recently and I was really surprised at the portions, the price and the deco. Its cute, small, clean and packed with a lunch time crowd, that I don't know where they are coming from bc there are not a lot of businesses near by.

My husband had the linguine del mare, and we were shocked at the amount of seafood that they put in there. I tried the veal saltimobocca and it was really well prepared, the only complaint that I have was the the mashed garlic potatoes that come with it weren't very garlicly and too mashed to the point that they were almost watery. We also had the grilled calamari and this was great. We didn't have room for dessert although the gelatos were tempting.

If you like Zias in Edison park try this for a change. Its just a little bit further south, the prices are about the same and its a nice change for the area.
