Over ten years ago, I had a fairly severe head injury, which totally wiped out my sense of smell, and therefore, I could taste nothing except sweet, sour, bitter and salt (everything else you call taste is smell).
I am a "gourmet cook" and it has been a struggle for me. Fortunately, my smell and "taste" have finally partially recovered, but I can no longer analyze what I have eaten at restaurants, and figure out what the contents of the dish are.
My husband has decided that he loves the barbecued beef ribs at the Cheesecake Factory. Can anyone help me reproduce the sauce?
