On the recommendations of several CH'ers, I finally made the trip over to Parkhouse Eatery. We were immediately greeted even though it was busy and bustling and our service by Zach was just right (what a cheerful guy!). I ordered the pancakes with sun-dried berries with a raspberry sauce (which I asked for on the side) and my husband had the scramble special, which had spicy sausage and roasted red peppers with smashed potatoes that were seasoned just right.
We had the opportunity to talk to the owner, Tony and complimented him on a wonderful first experience. He told us about their happy hour specials, which is full portion appetizers for half price (I think between 5 and 6).
I have to say that the staff seemed to all get along and help each other out, which is SO nice to see. Upon leaving, we had 3 servers (and even the busser) tell us to have a great day! Wow! Tony's doing something right and I, for one, intend to be back to see what else Chef Gilbert has in store for me!
