Little Park is in the old Plein Sud space. It doesn't appear to have been changed at all. The menu seems pretty limited to me, and no specials. The dishes do not come with sides i.e. rice, potato, veggie. The portions are small. I had the "beet tartare" i guess it sounds like Beef tartare. It was basically and mound of finely chopped beets, some horseradish sauce and trout roe. Nothing to write home about. I prefer the beet salad at the Odeon or many other places. Without referring to the menu, I think the price was about $14. I counted that as my side.
I then got the Dry Aged duck & kebab, the kebab I assume was the tiny duck sausage in the dish. It had some turnip puree and a tiny pile of grains ( I think) alongside of the meat.and 4 half slices of tiny grapes. A tiny portion, but the duck was perfectly cooked. There was no crispy skin on it, which would have been nice. The presentation on all dishes was very nice. The service was good. The dishes are Little, the flavors are minimal, the prices are high, ...I won't be back for dinner again. I'll give Breakfast a try.
I can't believe this place got 2 stars from Pete Wells.I guess when the chef has a name, the stars come automatically.
