My wife, an architect, and I really, really like the art and architecture which came out of the Art Nouveau movement. This is 150th anniversary of the birth of Hector Guimard (born 1867), who some have called the father of Paris Art Nouveau. With that in mind, I've compiled a list of Art Nouveau restaurants and cafés still in operation.
We'll be in Paris for our annual visit of several weeks in the middle of November and would like to visit a couple of these. This is not meant to be a definitive list, and I have three questions I would like some help with.
1. Are any on the list not, in fact, Art Nouveau?
2. Are there any places not on the list which should be added to the list?
3. Can any of the places on the list be especially recommended as a dining destination?
