I will be back in Paris (having been 1x before with my wife a couple of years ago) for a few days at the beginning of November. I am searching for a few places to have a true Parisian dinner. The cost is not important, but it doesn't have to break the bank, either. We went to Plaza Athenee last time, and it was fantastic. This time we are looking for a romantic place a true Parisian would go to for a romantic dinner. The less tourists - the better. Would prefer for it to be traditional french cuisine as we live in NYC and can get most other types of cuisine here in NYC.
We are in Paris and want to experience true Parisian cooking. My wife loves seafood, while I am more of a red meat guy as opposed to seafood, but we will eat anything.
Also looking for some great places to have lunch. We discovered Miznon, which seemed to be a true gem that seemed devoid of tourists (at least when we went there in 2016) and the food was very good. Basically a place we can get great charcuterie and good wine and enjoy the atmosphere. We went to Ferdi in Vendome (and we are likely staying nearby Ferdi once again).
Any suggestions for lunch and especially a great anniversary dinner on a Friday night for us, would be greatly appreciated.
