Bonjour, les Internationals!
Burke and I have made our dream come true; we've moved to Paris--if we'le lucky, forever.
You might remember us from the San Francisco Bay area board, or from our report here last year on our trip to France back in June.
Now we're installed in a miniscule apartment in the 5th arrondisement right at the intersection of Boul Mich and St. Germain--a touristy/student area if there ever was one. So Latin Quarter! We're surrounded by Greek, Indian, Tunisian, Chinese, Japanese and of course French places, too many to sample in just the two days since we arrived.
But look here for reviews, thoughts and happy ramblings of an Ex-Pat American (me) and Canadian (Burke) as we taste our way through the City of Lights.
Tonight we had Berthillon ice cream. Dear heaven, it's still the greatest ice cream in the universe.
Do Parisian Chowhounds ever get together for meals? If so, count us in! Just drop us a line.
At the moment we have Web access but not email access, so the only way to reach us is to leave a "response" to one of our posts on our page. Sorry to steer you there, we,ll have email access soon enough, we hope.
Okay, thanks and nice to meet you all!
P.S.: Hello to any SF Bay hounds reading this! We're safe and sound and missing your good cheer already. Ciao for now!
