This tiny place opened up just three days ago on Mission between 19th and 20th. They have actually been parking a bacon dog cart outside the front door for the last few months (and have IMHO the top bacon dogs in the Mission), but didn't open the inside until this week.
The owners, oddly enough, are the same people who own La Oaxaquena up Mission (I recognized one of the guys inside and he confirmed it tonight). But the menu is almost completely different, featuring a deli case of French smoked herring, wood-smoked trout, couscous, guacamole, and other stuff. They might have some of the same pastries from La Oaxaquena behind the deli case. Prices are very low ($1.50 for sides, $3.50 for entrees, and under $7 for combination plates). Has anyone sampled it yet?
