I've noticed this gorgeous building many times when we have driven by and had yet to try it until this Fri. night. My son's best friend recently got a job here and he brought us home a small pepperoni pizza which I tasted and fell in love!!

Our daughter joined us for dinner. The inside is just as gorgeous as the outside. In the center of the restaurant is a beautiful fireplace with lots of comfy couches and chairs to relax, have your food or a glass of wine.

It is bistro style and you order, then they bring your food. The menu right now mostly consists of pizzas, sandwiches and salads. You go to a separate area to order your coffee and desserts.

I had the house green salad which was very good and the oil and vinegar dressing was prepared just right. The salad was enough for us to share. We each ordered individual pizzas and I had a glass of their house Merlot which was very nice for only 3.50/glass. My pizza was made to order, artichoke hearts, sausage and roma tomatoes with goat cheese. Very yummy. The sauce tastes VERY fresh and the crust is flakey, almost like a cracker bread type crust.

The other two pizzas were the pepperoni and the BBQ chicken which I sampled a little of both while I as waiting for my order to come out. Both very, very good.

For dessert, I tried the creme brullee. Other options were cheesecake, all flavors of gelato or a chocolate brownie. We decided to move over by the fire for dessert. Well, the creme brulee did not disappoint. It was perfect. The top was not burned and the inside was silky smooth. Perfectly prepared. It's the best creme brullee I've found in town thus far. Lucky us discovering another gem in the area!

Sun. night for DD's birthday, our friend brought her the chicken and bacon sandwich, a delicious salad and the chocolate brownie. Everything agains was fresh, wonderful and tasty. I can't wait to return here again for lunch and try the Italian meatball sandwich with peppers and another type of salad. Bon Appetit! A big two thumbs up to Panne del Pane Italian Cafe. ***kim***
