Best Panda / Best Value

On Friday night we went to Best Panda for a family style meal. We had the $148 menu and added one dish (there were 13 of us) - the platters were very generous. (we couldn't finish it all) My favorite dishes were the Mixed Vegetable with Fillet of Sanddab (a wonderfully crispy skeleton lined the plate and on top there was a mix of tender, sweet fish pieces along with stir fried greens)and the House Special Spareribs.
The black bean sauce clams had a nice undertone of heat from the many jalapeno slices. The Honey Walnut Prawns were not overly sweet - the walnuts were largely broken bits but tasted fine. The seafood shark fin soup was pretty weak - not a great start to the meal but fortunately it got better. This place filled up fast - lots of families enjoying lots of food at good prices.
