Last night we enjoyed the food of Chef Octavio at a new(open 1 month) restaurant called Palmeri. He was the Chef of Il Forniao BH for the last 10 years.
Considering there are so many Italian Restaurants in the vicinity it's hard to understand why anyone would open another one, but once you try it you'll see why.
The four of us shared the following items:
ARANCINI-Saffron Rice w/ground meats, peas and fresh Mozzarella, very good.
CAPESANTE-Seared Sweet Jumbo Scallop
MOLECHE- Sauteed Soft Shell Crab, Orange Sauce, very good.
TRIO PLATTER w/Lasagna,Tortelli(unbelievable), Lobster w/black liguine.
GAMBERONI-Grilled Giant PRAWNS wrapped in paper thin swordfish, the best WILD Gigantic Shrimp anywhere.
DOUBLE KUROBUTA PORK CHOP-fantastic!
Overall we really liked the food and service and will be returning. Moderately priced.
