Thanks for all the thoughts. We had a great time. We actually ate at Echo twice, simply for the fresh wasabi and yellowtail which were unmatchable for sushi lovers. Sake martinis and fresh ginger martinis were fabulous. Since fresh wasabi is still a luxury in most parts, we coudn't help but go twice. Sushi will never be the same without it!
Never made it to our formal night at Breakers or Ritz. Had great apps at Mark's at City Place, but the red meat entree's were only so so. Good desserts sent by our concierge,,,,,fried cheesecake was a great idea that worked well.
Tabboo was great, full of local flavor, ate at the bar, great house salad, good steak.......love this kind of joint where anything goes, from burgers to veal chops...
Lunch at Chuck and Harolds was nothing special. Lunch in Delray over the bridge on the left was pretty good. The fried grouper was excellent.
Johnny G's was a perfect morning. I never order french toast, but the granola crusted, captured me, and I ate more than I should have.....from there we went into 47 degree weather, and jumped into the 72 degree ocean across the parking lot....amazing! Hotel robes made it possible!
