Periodically I pick up French wines from Kermit Lynch that I've never heard of. Most recently I bought a bottle of Morgon 2004 by Jean-Paul Thevenet. As a big fan of Kermit Lynch imports, I'm willing to take this blind leap. This Morgon is incredibly floral, light bodied, acidic and has hints of banana on the nose. It is enjoyable, but I cannot think of what to pair with it as a main course. I KNOW it would pair very well with a lavender honey panna cotta, but what about savory dishes?
