Maybe it is beacause I am a staunch Manhattanite and these sort of places abound in Brooklyn - but I thought this place was the most charming, chill, welcoming, unique place I have been to in a long time. It reminded me of a place I used to go to on the outskirts of Bogota Colombia, where you stay all day, eating, drinking, dancing on the tables. I had the baja tacos which albeit not authentic, were very nice. I think it was more the ambience and decor that really touched me. The way the outside and inside flow into one another. Margs were great - very limey. And only 5 bills! Salsa? Was 'ehh.' I hear this board hates the place - I can't see why.
