Pacific Rim Cafe' in Hermosa Beach: Worth another try?

I live a couple of miles from this Korean-inspired restaurant that offers a number of dishes and soups that sound appealing. I biked over there a couple of months ago and was told that it was take out only since it was 8:40pm. I thought I'd try again another time. I went back tonight a shade after 8pm, there was a couple eating in and there was leftover food on the tables from people who must have left recently. The owner told me again that it was takeout only, no eat-in. When I asked about his closing time, he said 9pm. It was about quarter after 8 on the restaurant clock by the time he could get to me after completing a couple of dishes. He then said take-out only and if I didn't like it I could leave. Since I'd biked there again, I was in the same situation.

So, I left and had a nice dinner at The Spot around the corner where I've gone off and on for many years.

I don't think I said or did anything offensive to the gentleman either time and his food does sound intriguing. As a vegetarian, I'm always looking for options like this. My question is whether his food is worth another attempt to be seated or if he just doesn't want the business.
