Oyster Roll at Charlie's H Square Noteworthy

I generally don't eat at Charlie's. Prices are fine, but I am generally underwhelmed with the food.

Was in the Square wanting dinner. Upstairs (our first choice) was closed due to a private event. Was not quite in a Rialto mood. I like Henrietta's Table, but the ambience always feels too cafeteria.

So figured what the heck, Charlie's, can't kill me can it? And we were in the mood for outdoor dining.

The rest of our meal was just fine, but the Oyster Roll I ate was really excellent. It was a special, but sooo good. I hate to say it, but even better then the one I had at the Bookstore Rest. in Welfleet recently. Really all the credit goes to the fry job. The 10 or so oysters were just juicy crispy and perfect. Crazy thing is, it was $9 or so, just nuts for a good oyster roll.

If you see it on the special board, go for it.
