Ortanique

Hit Ortanique for lunch today.

The place is delightful. Whole family running the operation, very sweet homey vibe.

I had curry chicken. Would have had the Oxtail, a huge favorite of mine, but that is a bit heavy for lunch.

The chicken was very nicely done in a typical slightly delicate jamaican style curry sauce. It was served with Red rice and red beans, plantains, and a salad.

Everything was tasty and excellent. I think it was $7.20 for the meal.

Got to get back for the oxtail, curry goat and jerk.

Dining area is very small. 3-4 tables, mostly takeout.

What a nice addition to the Huron Ave. area. Hope they do well.
