Oriental Kitchen - Have I Discovered a Hidden Gem?

Fwagra | May 17, 2006 09:06 PM

I popped into this spot at Don Mills south of York Mills, because its neighbour and my target, Island Foods, was closed.

Anyhow, I ordered up a hot & sour soup, spring roll, and har gao just as a quick snack.

I got some pretty decent food. The soup was very big for $3.50. Warning: it was the red kind. But, it was really tasty, and full of the usual good stuff. The spring roll was good. Har gao was solid.

The whole place was reserved for that night; I was told that the patrons are mostly Chinese, which I think is a good sign.

Does anyone know this place? Have you eaten more than I did there? Was it good? Have I discovered a hidden gem?
