We have lots of discussion about Cantonese banquet, seafood, and dimsum places and of regional Chinese specialists, and of obscure places out of town. And lots of bakeries.
But we only rarely cover the ordinary, humdrum parlors right smack in Chinatown. Black bean sauce joints that spit out plates of rice noodles and greens and such.
Which are the good ones? Do any of those little places on and around Grant have any magic to offer? Any great secret little holes-in-walls where the old guys eat? Any touristy places nonetheless worth a bite?
