Orange chicken/beef--sauted, not breaded and gloopy?

Love the tangy and sweet flavor of the usual orange beef or chicken dish you can get at just about any halfway decent Chinese place, but hate the usual gloppiness and thick breading. Does any place do a good sauteed version of this, presumably, standard dish and flavoring? Does it have another name?
