I thought this unit looked pretty cool by Caso. It has 3400 watts that are split on the hobs. I like the large cooking surface, in case you have big pots and pans. I think it is only available in Europe? not sure. Caso has a few US Induction offerings, but as a company I don't know how good a product they offer.
One PUC may not enough for people and when you get another, you may not be able to plug them both in at once because of power draw issues. I don't know what the solution is, you probably can't just plug this unit in that easy in US.
Of course in Europe it's alot easier to simply plug in a larger watt appliance into your outlet. Again I am seeing issues with only lower watt 120V PUC being available for most people in US, without trying to hassle with converting to 220v.
Delonghi has a 3 zone one as well, don't know much about this one, or if available in US. Not sure if this is a "drop in" or just has a frameless design. I tend to like a PIC with a steel housing.
