Many thanks to J. Kenji Lopez-Alt for surfacing the default settings on the updated Opentable app that enables sharing of diner data with 3rd parties. His IG post illustrates how to shut this down.

Recently I had noticed that the default setting opts out of collecting diner points and fixed that for myself. But this out of bounds default privacy policy escaped me till now.
