Made some lentil soup tonight that didn't go so great on a couple of counts but the worst is the overpowering taste of onion. Not sure if I just used too much (did follow the recipe but those directions were terrible!) or if I didn't let them cook/saute long enough before adding other ingredients to the mix. I would normally say that it's impossible to have too much onions in anything but now I know otherwise. Any suggestions as to what I can do to tone down the onion flavor?
