On our trips to Nice, France, we've enjoyed olive oil ice cream at several of the better resaurants (La Bastide Saint-Antointe -- Jacques Chibois' place -- and Chanteclair at the Negresco).
I've not seen it in Paris or anywhere else for that matter. Nor have I been able to find a recipie. I suspect that it's a good "French-style" vanilla ice cream with about a tablespoon of olive oil per quart.
Anyone have a good recipie?
