Went to a new izakaya style restaurant upstairs next to the Suruki Supermarket in San Mateo on 3rd avenue.

This is a small place with a pretty small but diverse menu featuring different grilled items (Hamachi, Sea eel, chicken meatballs), fried (Sea eel, tempura), Appetizers (goma-ae, cold tofu, eggplant), side dishes, and a sashimi special. The prices are really fair and the food was pretty tasty. Just thought that I would let people know considering it is sort of hidden.
