Official 2011 Pumpkin Seed Thread

I love me some pumpkin seeds (read: addicted) but I"m not a fan of the over salted (Davids) or burnt (Gerbs) brands. Let's talk about your favorite ways to prepare nature's crack and where to get good deals on the street.

I'm a fan of the simple slow and low bake with a touch of vegetable oil and salt. I also like to pan-roast them after letting them dry out for 24hrs. This year I want to experiment with smoking them (over wood chips, not in a pipe).

Any suggestions?
