Help an expat out:
I've lived outside the D.C. area for years, most recently in Russia, where I've developed a taste for ineer bits of beasts. I'll be back in D.C. in November and I was hoping some chowhounder could tell me:
1. The best butcher shop for kidney, sweetbreads, tripe, and the like. Preferably one in the D.C. area catering to an ethnic community, rather than a pricey sururban food church.
2. A restaurant (again, to the specs above) that does glorious things with offal.
