Last week I went to cosmopolitan flushing queens to have some dim sum. The place I went to is called Ocean Jewels. When you first walk in you see an astounding sight. Instead of waiters and menus that people order from, there are carts being pushed around and all you have to do is pick what you want and then it's immediately on your table ready to eat. The food is quite phenomenal and has everything you can imagine. For food there is shrimp dumplings, wontons, fish and more. To drink there is chrysanthemum tea and hot water. Heating the water is the cultural thing to do because the water in china is not so clean and boiling it kills bacteria. And finally for dessert there is sweet sticky rice and crispy durian cake which is an acquired taste but the sticky rice I totally recommend. Ocean Jewels is a great experience of dim sum food and cantonese culture. I really liked it there and recommend that you go also.
