OC Suggestions for Cheap (Frugal) Hounds

For those who don't mind blowing mass quantities of moolah we are blessed with seemingly endless places like R&D Cafe that russkar mentioned below (most sandwiches & salads in $15 range with sides extra, wines $7 up). Hey, why not, you only go around once in life, right?
OTOH, for those who may have already blown their wads and still crave decent chow at bargain prices in comfortable digs, here's 2 tips:
1. Wolfgang's at Block in Orange has a happy hour M-F pm till 7p, you can sit anywhere in the restaurant including the large outdoor patio. Nice assortment of cheap chow, like any pizza for $5, assorted sushi in the $4-6 range, calamari fritti about the same, well drinks & beer & wine $2.50, etc. If you're almost broke, skip the drinks, just order the cheap chow & a glass of water.
2. Daily Grill in Fashion has a happy hour 5-7 M-F with $2.50 appetizers including hamburgers, shashimi & several other goodies, but you do have to sit at the bar (inside or outdoor tables OK). The chow tends to be better at Daily than Wolfgang but the drinks are more expensive.
