Oasis in Williamsburg

I know someone posted about this right when they opened -- but I just wanted to reaffirm the original post. This is the new middle eastern place that opened right by the Bedford L stop in Williamsburg. It is an incredible addition to the neighborhood that previously depended on the awful pita power for middle eastern dishes. Oasis is amazing -- seriously competes with some of the best middle eastern places in the city -- so far I've stuck to vegetarian dishes -- hummus, falafel, the vegetarian platter (which has everything from beets to chickpeas to tahini to falafel -- its $10 but easily can be shared for lunch between 2 people) -- and they've all been amazing. I highly recommend this place -- its already crowded most of the time -- but its worth it. Not to mention, the owners are definitely focused on customer service and do a good job of handling customers. My only complaint is that they use store bought pita instead of making their own. But other than that -- I love it!
