Tomorrow night's Oakland Korean chowdown is postponed, due to almost everyone saying "dang, wish I could come, but that day is really bad for me". Sooo... join me on National Tap Dance Day for some great panchan and Korean dishes! (sorry, should have chosen TAPas, but panchan is close...)
This is "that unnamed Korean place" I constantly harp on about at 13th and Harrison (downtown Oakland). It's about three blocks off BART, and parking, although not trivial, is not terrible that far north of Chinatown.
RSVP to the above email link by noon Monday. Time can be flexible depending on needs. I'm going to limit this to just six people total (due to the fact that it's just one old lady running the entire place!), but if more than six reply, we'll do another one shortly. (three slots already filled!)
I am planning a chowlunch here the following Thursday, June 3rd. (National Hunger Awareness Day, which is slightly more appropriate...) You can RSVP for that; I'll post a top-level announcement one week prior.
Bring a healthy appetite and lots to talk about, as it usually takes 30-60 minutes for food to arrive!
