NYC Itinerary needs matching restaurants & cafes

schnapperin | Feb 17, 2013 09:50 PM

somehow I lost the time and didn't realised that I would be heading to NYC this week! So a sort of last minute panic about my not set list of restaurants & cafes. Which means I would need your help to sort me out!!

A food lover, travel & food lover who loves to discover new places & food.

I have been to NYC back in 2009, doing the major sightseeing bits and , trying out a few places like Burger Joint, posh lunch set menu, Chinatown...

Now I would need matching recommands for my NYC itinerary, as I don't see any point in travelling back and down to fit either in it (but would do it for something unforgettable).

Staying in LIC - close to the F tube station but not afraid to use the metro for dinner!

Trip to the Woodbury Outlet store - back around 4 pm
Metro Line 7 to Queens
Dinner needed

Brooklyn Hights & Brooklyn Bridge - 9/11 Memorial at 10.30 am - Walk trough the area to Luke's Lobster for early lunch - 1.30 pm FED tour -
nothing planned for the afternoon (maybe Moma)
Lunch: Luke's Lobster
Dinner: Early dinner at Burger Joint
MET at 6 pm

Guggenheim Museum - Metropolitan Museum of Art - American History Museum with Central Park in between - Williamsburg - maybe Harlem
Lunch: ?

High Lane - Chelsea Market - Soho - Greenwich- maybe Union Station
Lunch: Momofuku Ssam Bar
Dinner: Early option needed as I'm off to the airport at 6.30 pm (departure 9.50 pm)

On the list aswell is the Momofuku Milk Bar - and since I do have a sweet tooth I would love to fit in a trip to a bakery & cafe each day aswell - any recommandings for the area I'm in too?

On my shopping list are aswell kitchen & baking ware - any good places to recommand?
