The latest issue of the wonderful Art of Eating (#71) had an article on the comeback of the Olympia oyster in the Puget Sound region. Today's NY Times (4/26/06) had a good and mouthwatering piece by R. W. Apple on several Puget Sound area oysters. Apple quoted some of the same people as featured in the A of E and even mentioned as a source the author of the A of E story but did not mention the journal itself. Perhaps it is my fondness for A of E, but it hit me that this is not the first time that I have seen cribbing from A of E in more mainstream publications. Anyone else notice this before?
