I live in San Francisco, but I went home to visit the family for Christmas and had dinner at Nozawa with some friends. I don't usually order uni (I'm a wimp) but I had some other-worldly pieces that night. One of my favorites is ikura, and I had the best I have ever tasted...clean, rich, mmmmm. Also, it wasn't that busy, so I didn't feel rushed like I usually do when I eat there. Just thought I'd pass it along.
