Note to Terrance Brennan: Call Them Chocolate "Gougeres"

Had a great dinner last night at the relatively new Bar Artisanal. Grilled cheese bites, jamon iberico bellota, cacciatorini del cinghale, wagyu beef bresaola, blues prawns in hot pepper oil with garlic, soft poached egg with piquillo pepper and montenebro cheese. Homemade bellini and a glass of Sangiovese. But the highlight may have been the chocolate "beignets" which for a moment I swore were the cheese gougeres by mistake as they're served in the same silver tin with the wax paper cone. One bite of the crystal sugar coated, chocolate fried dough ganache filled beauties showed me that they got the order right. But I bet he'd sell even more if he called them chocolate "gougeres"!
