Nordic Fox

Sometimes this semi Scandinavian household has an overwhelming desire for Aunt Agnete's meat balls and some yellow pea soup. The 'Fox' has many Scandinavian specialities - Swedish pancakes, fried herring (fresh) plus Danish aebleskivers. We shared the tasting plate for one (large Viking that is). Bowl of excellent yellow pea soup and a platter - cheery yellow rimmed plates) of meatballs, stuffed cabbage (faintly nuked), gravy (v.good) and pork loin stuffed with prunes plus potatoes, green beans (canned I'm afraid), cucumber salad, pickled herring and swedish cracker bread PLUS aebleskiver in raspberry sauce for dessert - that was a tasty aebleskiver and better than Aunt A's. This plate was $13.95 which we split. They also have Lutefisk - not for the faint hearted but those like me who can wallow in the cod, cream sauce, peas and boiled potatoes (saved this for another day).
