Nook for a bday dinner? Or better ideas for a small group.

Heyo, y'all,
My roommate is turning 21 soon and she doesn't want to go barhopping or clubbing but we still want to do something nice for her so we wanted to plan a birthday dinner outing.

From all that I've heard and read about Nook Bistro it sounds great (good atmosphere, tasty food, ridiculously close to our apt, etc).

We'll prolly have about 12 people or so on a Saturday night (the 27th) and I was wondering if Nook would be a good place since I heard it is rather cozy with only 30 available seats. If so do you know if they take reservations or if we should just walk in and wait for space to open up at the communal table.

If it won't work do y'all have any other good suggestions. She has no prefs for cuisines and I doubt any of us would like to stray too far from the Westside tonight (on most occasions I'd drive across town and county for a good meal, but not all my friends are like that).
