Two nights in Atlanta in December - mainly downtown

jacolis | Aug 12, 201906:49 PM     4

Hi all,

Seeking some input on a planned trip to ATL December 20-22. We are a family of four (two teenagers) from Canada. We are staying downtown so we can visit the sites of interest to us. It seems like slim pickings for our two lunches near CNN/World of Coke/Civil Rights Museum. How is Twin Smokers BBQ? Or a chain restaurant like Ted Montana’s? If we want to be within a 10 minute walk is our only option the food court at CNN??

For dinners we can uber further afield. I’d like to see the Atlanta botanical garden lit up so I am thinking either Empire State South or South City Kitchen. Which one is better between the two? And on our first night, either Alma Cocina or White Oak Kitchen?

Thanks in advance!
