My wife and I love Picholine until our Dinner on Friday night. It was a very disappointing evening.
Had to wait 20 minutes for our table and had to ask for plates for our cheese course. One order of wood pigeon was dry and I ate less than half.. Having eaten there over a dozen times in the last few years, everything seemed off. Bread plate removed without asking if we wanted more bread. Lots of little things that should not happen in Picholine. Has anyone else had an off night there?
I recognized only one staff person so maybe there has been a complete change of staff. Am worried as we both think of Pichiline as having our favorite dish in the city...urchin panna cotta.
