Restaurants & Bars 5

Nice takeout Chinese in Arlington

I haven't seen this restaurant mentioned anywhere, but I've been having lunch at Panda Maxx a lot lately - it's on Wilson Blvd in the Courthouse area of Arlington (actually on the Clarendon side of a building with a Wilson address, near N. Veitch).

They have a lunch bar with changing entrees, and they cheerfully give out samples. Very nice people - when I made an offhand comment about how my favorite entree wasn't on the lunch bar that day, they made a fresh batch on the spot for me.

I've ordered off the menu and had a very nice Hunan shrimp - crisp vegetables and big shrimp. This is turning into my daily lunch spot now and I've been sending coworkers there. Thought I would pass their name along.
