Since I had to move up to crappy Joisey (do ya'll miss me yet?), I am co-hosting a Mardi Gras party up here on February 21st.
Anyone have suggestions for items to serve (aside from King Cake, of course) that won't upset their delicate Joisey palates and that I will not have too hard of a time finding ingredients to make? Raw ersters are out as it will be too cold up here to keep 'em outside and they are too messy to serve inside. Do you think it will be too early to get some boiled crawfish shipped up here (of course, then we have the mess factor again...)?
