Nawab report - Williamsburg, VA

I posted a question the other day about this Indian restaurant. Thanks for the responses. My husband and I went there for lunch today and had a great meal! We took WellFedRed's suggestion and ordered off the menu, although most other people seemed to be having the buffet (we did walk past the buffet, but it was pretty small especially compared to the buffets at the Indian restarants I usually go to in NYC).

We both had the "house special lunch":

- Tandoori chicken which was excellent, very tender and flavorful
- Curry (chicken for me and vegetables for him). We ordered it spicy, and it was pretty hot but not unbearable
- Basmati rice
- Naan

We really enjoyed the food, especially since it was only $8.95 each! We'll definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to the usual tavern/Trellis/chain restaurant experience in W'burg.
