Nashville - Greek - Zavos

After reading positive reviews for this East Nashville Greek "hotspot," We decided to take our out of town guests there for dinner. I called to inquire about the liquor license, byob policy and was assured by a heavily greek accented woman that we could bring our own wine as most of our party does not drink only beer with dinner.

We drove 35 minutes to get to the restaurant, found a parking spot, walked in to an almost empty dining room on a Friday night. We sat ourselves as no one told us where to sit. The seating throughout was bar stools that were uncomfortable. The menu was reasonable, however very limited. I hope you are happy with three choices for an entree. We asked for a bottle opener for our wine and were told that we could not drink our wine there as they did not have the proper licenses.

Very disappointed and left, so we can not comment on the quality of the food, the menu was very limited and had we been told earlier that we could not bring wine we would have been prepared....

Overall not impressed and should have went to Greek Isles on Demonbreun...
