I recall 5-7 years back coming across a San Francisco restaurant cookbook that had a recipe from House of Nanking for the sweet-sauced, soft-fried sweet potatoes that accompany the sesame chicken. I made it a few years back, liked it, and would like to try again, but lost the recipe :(
I can't remember the name of the cookbook, I've scoured Amazon and Google and have had no luck. It had information on a number of different restaurants, and a recipe from at least a few of them.
Does anyone have this recipe, or can point me to the right book? Many thanks!
