Alright, I already begged for ways to dry chiles, now I have a jalepeno dilemma. I picked a few of my jalepenos last week, they were plump, a lovely green color, and the skin was beginning to split like it should. I set them on a plate and haven't used them yet, I'm waiting for more to be ready to harvest so I can make salsas, etc. Anyway, they have begun to turn bright red like the chiles. They were sitting on the plate next to chiles for a day or so but I don't think that could influence their color! Is this normal? Some of the jalepenos on the plant are growing red too, but not all of them. Could someone share their expertise? Thank you!!!
