From breakfast at Cafe Fina https://www.chowhound.com/post/cafe-f..., I drove to Museum Hill http://museumhill.net/ to explore multiple museums with my New Mexico Culture Pass http://www.newmexicoculture.org/visit... .
The Museum Hill Cafe was my lunch spot, a gracious café frequented by many of the ladies who lunch set. Three seated around me were using portable O2 units at 7200' elevation. I had asked the cafe host if there might be a table near an electrical outlet. He placed me by the windows in the corner where I could take in the view as well as recharge my phone.
The soup of the day, $9.95, was a rich corn chowder packed with Black Oak smoked sausage and root vegetables. A whole chipotle pepper perched on top spiced things up. I'll mention that I've been surprised at the level of capsicum spicing even at places that cater to tourists. I like it, but not all I know would be able to handle the heat.
The cafe was a very convenient and delicious choice. The food and service are better than they need to be and I'd happily return.
