MSP--Has anyone read Barry Glasner's book, "Gospel of Food?" [moved from the Midwest board]

I just finished this book a few weeks ago and I thought it was fantastic. My book club read Omnivore's Dilemma for November 07 and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I was insulted by someone in the room that night because they thought that people who go to chain restaurants and fast food are generally ignorant people who don't know anything about nutrition. Barry Glasner talks about this food topic and others in this book. He is a proponent of the Slow Food movement, but he expounds upon the positives of the Fast Food industry. He also opened my eyes to this website and also www.opentable.com . He also must know something about the Twin City food scene as well because he talks about Babani's being the only Kurdish restaurant in the US, and mentions Dara Moskowitz from City Pages. I highly recommend it.
