I have a short layover on my way from New York to Tel Aviv. What can I eat in the Moscow airport? I did a little research and my two top choices seem to be: Uzbechka and Elki Palki. I also would love to try Kroshka Kartoshka [Крошка Картошка].
What do you guys recommend for specific items? I will probably take something "to go". I am not familiar at all with Russian cuisine or with Uzbek cuisine. I am only interested in trying dishes that are authentic and traditional or authentic and contemporary.
So far, I look forward to a stuffed potato, honey pie, sharbat and lagman. What are your favorites?
